Flisak Jerzy
1930-2008
Biography:
- worked as a poster designer, a book illustrator, a stage designer and a satirical cartoonist
- graduated from the faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw Polytechnic
- contributed to many magazines in Poland and abroad - contributed to 'Szpilki' magazine for many years and worked there as an art director
- prestigious awards: the award at the International Art Directors Club Exhibition in 1962; the award of the Ministry of Culture for his achievements in satire; the award of the Chairman of the Ministers' Council; seven times the Szpilki award and awards in many competitions organised by the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw
