- Born in 1962 in Poznań
- Painter, graphic designer, stage and poster designer
- Graduated at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan (Academy of Fine Arts)
- He debuted as a stage designer at the Great Theatre in Łódź in 1989, creating the artistic setting for the spectacle 'Ernani' by Verdi - for this he was awarded his first Golden Mask. Then he was a main stage designer of the Opera and Operetta in Szczecin, Great Theatre in Poznań
- In poster art he continues family's tradition. His father - Zbigniew Kaja was a graphic designer and representative of the Polish School of Posters
- The main inspiration for all his works is the specific perception of the world derived from the prose of Bohumil Hrabal
- He is living in Wrocław
