MAJA WOLNA Posters Exhibition "From Behind the Veil"
MAJA WOLNA (born in 1980) graduaded at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. She has participated in numerous poster and illustration exhibitions in Poland and abroad, won the Gold Medal in the Ideological Poster category at the 22nd Poster Biennale 2010 in Warsaw. Wolna works as an assistant in the poster studio at the academy. She also cooperates with magazines: "Zwierciadlo", "Film" and "Feminoteka". Now she lives and works in Warsaw.
The series of works presented in BUW is and attempt to examine the issues faced by woman living in the Muslim world.
