Leszek Zebrowski considers himself to be the last Romantic of the Polish drawing. His masters are Artur Grottger, Stefan Zechowski, Witkacy, and Mieczyslaw Gorowski * best recognized as an author of more than 400 posters * besides computer-generated posters, Leszek Zebrowski uses traditional drawing techniques, mostly pastels on colored stock, in format identical to posters * the artist creates portraits and masks that bring out the model's psyche * born 23 February 1950 in Szczecin * graduate of Szczecin Art College (Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych) and Gdansk Academy of Arts (Wyzsza Szkola Sztuk Plastycznych), Faculty of Graphic Design, under the guidance of prof. Krechowicz * he is an associate professor at the Szczecin Academy of Arts * in addition, he is an active art shepherd who arranged numerous exhibitions and performances, e.g. musical-artistic action ''Przyspieszenie'' (Acceleration) * he resides at Szczecin and Szelkow Nowy, Poland * he has received over 30 awards, including prestigious awards in poster biennales in Warsaw, Moscow, Mons, Tehran, Charkov, Tulza, and Rzeszow
